'Very nice clean, eclectic place with great amenities. Paula is a great host, tentative when we had questions. It was cold and windy by the lake, but there was plenty to do inside (games, sauna, TV, etc.) on a snowy winter day. Enjoyed having a fire in fireplace in the sunroom watching outside nature. We hope to return to enjoy all that is offered when it's warmer.'

All you could want for a romantic getaway (but there is also room to bring the kids if you wanted to! But you won’t want to once you see it!) Communication great. Absolutely no notes: 5/5! 'Such a serene, inviting cottage! We enjoyed our peaceful weekend at the mint cottage. It was immaculately clean, comfortable and inviting, and the perfect location to go explore Shenandoah National Park & George Washington National Forest. The kitchen was well-stocked, and it's easy to tell the owner takes great pride in and care of this relaxing space. The walking trails on the property were perfect for the dog too! We will return soon.'
