The Space:

The night sky stretches over the dome, constellations spilling through the windows as the fire pit crackles on the private deck. You feel the hush of the woods settle around you, the scent of pine mingling with the cool mountain air. Inside, the dome’s warm glow invites you to unwind after a day of hiking or fishing, while the lofted queen bed offers a perch for stargazing from the comfort of your own sheets.



Sleeping arrangements

The dome sleeps four guests. A king bed rests on the main level, and a queen loft bed sits above, reachable by stairs. Both beds are positioned to capture night‑sky views through expansive windows.

A full indoor bathroom with shower provides privacy and convenience. Heating keeps the space cozy during colder months, and air conditioning is available when temperatures rise. While another dome and a yurt share the larger property, Orion maintains its own deck and fire pit, offering a sense of separation and privacy. A sound machine helps ensure restful nights despite occasional road noise from a nearby state route.

A short drive brings you to hiking trails, fishing spots, and Lost River State Park. Nearby small towns provide cafes, restaurants, and local shops for relaxed afternoons before returning to the dome’s warmth.



Winter travel considerations

Snow or icy conditions may require four‑wheel drive or tire chains, and travel insurance is recommended during winter months. Refunds are not offered for road conditions outside the host’s control.
