'Everything at this lovely place of peace and serenity was pure perfection. The owners are amazing and went over and beyond to make the stay exceptional. The hot tub was heaven, pure heaven! The cottage is fully stocked, modern, clean, and just the perfect space to decompress, unwind, and reset. 'This was a perfect location to get away and decompress. The screened in porch was comfortable even in the heat of the summer. The open property on the side of a mountain allowed for a great view of the stars at night. Within 30 minutes there is several state and national parks with great trails and walking around the property was safe and convenient. '

'We had a terrific time! We enjoyed everything from the trails, pigs, and chickens to the breakfast jam, eggs, and sausage. Check-in was effortless, as was communication with the owners. Two thumbs up in all respects!'

'This location is beautiful! It is very relaxing whether you are by the lake, the pool, or just walking around the property. The fishing was a lot of fun and there’s a good variety of fish. Also, there is a reason most reviews comment on how nice Tabby is. She is a very lovely person! The space was very roomy and clean. It was myself, my husband, and our two kids, and we fit very nicely in the space. I think the coffee bar was my favorite! I would very happily stay there again! '

'Wonderful, clean, modern and I had no idea that there was a small valley between two mountain ridges, the views were amazing… mountains on both sides! 25 minutes from Shenandoah River Outfitters and 10 minutes from hiking. We spent most of the time in the screened in porch and then into the hot tub. We could see every star! Super clean and comfortable, we had a great time relaxing and tubing on the Shenandoah River. We will be back!'

'The cottage was a good size and comfortable for me and my wife and two dogs. The water is very close and accessible and was clear as a mountain stream while we were there.Only addition could be a better entertainment system with WIFI.'

'We enjoyed Luray Caverns during our stay in Shenandoah. This hotel is very clean and has cute, very comfortable furniture. The place is great and the hosts are lovely and communicate quickly.'
