'The home had so many great features, including the outdoor shower, a fully stocked kitchen, and fun family games to enjoy in the evenings. The neighborhood had a great vibe with plenty of walkable options, yet the house still felt quaint and tucked away from the hustle and bustle. We loved every part of our stay!'

'The cottage was cozy and clean. We enjoyed the sunset from the outside porch. We also enjoyed the kayaks and family atmosphere of the community. The closeness to the beach was convenient as well. The dryer may need to be repaired because it runs very rough. '

'This was the perfect house for our family of four! We can to town for a lacrosse tournament and we enjoy having a comfortable place to relax after a day of games. Danna's house is so absolutely perfect and clean. Such a stunningly beautiful home, inside and out. Danna is so thoughtful and we had the most beautiful fresh cut flowers lovingly placed throughout the house. Having the golf cart to go to the beach was handy and fun! We highly recommend spending time at Salt Heir!!! We hope to be back...

'We loved our stay. Lots of dolphins and other wildlife within walking distance. Gated community so we didn't have to worry about theft. The daily visit from wild turtles begging for food was adorable'

'Worth the money. It's clearly a converted garage. But if that doesn't bother you, it's a nice, quiet place and a good location. I would definitely stay again. The only problem I had was a lack of communication until the day before I was scheduled to arrive. But otherwise, it was all good . I recommend it.'

'This was a great house, with a great location; only 1 house from the beach access. The kitchen and “dining area” are not air conditioned, so those spaces were balmy, but the bedrooms and living room were all a very comfortable temperature. The walls are thick and noise doesn’t travel much!The kitchen and garage were both very well stocked for guests to use. We can’t wait to go back next year!'

"This is a reasonable hotel in terms of price/quality ratio. The location is almost at the end of the boardwalk but the Virginia Beach shuttle stops right outside. The staff is very friendly and helpful, there were some things that were not right, when we arrived the indoor pool was not open, both washing machines were out of order (there were 4 brand new dryers in operation) and the sliding door to the balcony in our room we could only open by using a lot of force. We had a balcony with sea view on a high floor and the view was fantastic."
