'We loved this cute house. It was modernly decorated, had everything we needed and then some. We loved the quite of the country, but not really in country! and close to the marina we were heading for the next day. Reelin' and Relaxin' is very fitting name for the house and the area. Our only concern was house is not on a heavy traffic road, but cars zipped by quite fast for a dead end road.'

'Castaway Cottage was as quaint and clean as can be. We absolutely loved it. And it was so much fun using the golf cart. We dined at the restaurant and learned how to make the Smith Island cake. And we were blessed by the camp meeting on Sunday. It was a wonderful stay. And of course Laura was just great.'

'My family (several adults and a 12-yr old) was in the area to enjoy the long July 4th weekend festivities in Reedville and we couldn't have had better accommodations! All the positive comments in the previous reviews of this property are absolutely true! It was immaculately clean, with all the amenities that we needed. The host was 100% responsive and a pleasure to deal with. We definitely look forward to staying there again!'

We were disappointed at the number of things that were broken or not provided (although they were mentioned on the amenities list). 'If you are looking for a quiet getaway, this is your spot. We were charmed by the beautiful views, the comfort of the house, the birdwatching, and the stunning sunrises. The house has everything you could need, including lots of kid-friendly extras that we aren't accustomed to finding in rental homes (toys, a step stool for reaching the sink, small plastic plates, small utensils, etc.). We'll certainly pack lighter when we come back! There are yummy restaurants around the area, and very cute...
