Escape to our charming, newly updated cottage, thoughtfully decorated to create a cozy home away from home. Just a 10-minute walk brings you to the heart of Kilmarnock, where you`ll find shops and restaurants. A short drive will take you to Irvington and White Stone, where you can explore more dining, shopping, and attractions like The Tides Inn and Compass Entertainment. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, the cottage offers plenty of privacy, and a fenced yard perfect for your furry companion.

Belle Haven is a great spot for a relaxing getaway! Our family has enjoyed evenings by the fire, game nights, and movie marathons in the den. Whether you`re looking for lively get-togethers or quiet downtime, our spacious home has room for both.

We’re happy to host families, girls’ weekends, and small groups; however, we ask that you keep the house free from large parties or events.

We have a door keypad, so you will receive a code prior to your stay. The keypad code can also be used to set the house alarm if you so desire.

The walk to town is short - we have timed it at 8 minutes. Despite the close proximity to town, our home is tucked away on a quiet street with lots of privacy.

Another great option is Belle Isle State Park, which offers peaceful picnic areas, lakes, and trails through forested areas.

In town, explore Main Street with its boutique shops, art galleries, and antique stores. For a bit of local history, visit the George Washington Birthplace National Monument, where you can tour colonial-era buildings. Not far from Kilmarnock in Irvington, you`ll find The Tides Inn, a waterfront resort on the Chesapeake Bay. It offers stunning views, dining, a spa, and sailing opportunities.

Minimum age to rent is 25. No parties or gatherings allowed - please keep guests to 6 people or fewer. If you have a special circumstance with the number of guests, please message me before booking.

We love dogs and welcome two housebroken pups to join you on your getaway. Please make sure to clean up after your pets in the yard and bring sheets to cover any furniture they may enjoy. Additional cleaning fees will apply if there is evidence of your pet being in the home once you leave. Thank you for your cooperation with these rules.
