Cottages in Unorganized Kenora District

'Although we were only able to stay the night, this was a beautiful off the grid pit stop located on the edge of beautiful Avery Lake. We enjoyed sitting on the dock, listening to the loons calling and reading our books. Ed was a fantastic host. We would love to be able to come back for a longer visit to enjoy all this spot and accommodation has to offer! So many amenities and opportunities if you love Mother Nature!'

'We really enjoyed our trip. Check-in was very easy and host was quick to respond to any questions or issues we had during our stay. Note that the host does have additional adjacent properties that share the lakefront beach/dock. We did not find this an issue as there is plenty of space and equipment to spare but I mention it only as it is not entirely clear on the posting. The lakefront view is beautiful and accommodations were perfect for our family getaway.'

'Nice staff, good breakfast, clean'

'Very unhelpful front disc staff and my calls have been neglected many times so that they leave me on line for more than an hour with no care. I cannot even get my receipt for stay. The worst experience in my life with the front disc staff!'

'Don’t expect the Ritz, or contemporary amenities or design. The motel might look like nothing much, but it is actually a very comfortable place to spend a night. It is clean, the shower is nice, the bed is very comfortable. There is a fridge and microwave…all you need. Would definitely recommend!'

'great staff'

'Loved the stay. But the property needs some basic touch ups.'

'Suite had a jacuzzi very good quality room, can say the tile is like negative grip though probably go to desk for a few extra floor towels. Very clean good smelling room was a bit hot apparently in a time of year that the air conditioner wasn't a feature but temperatures in room definitely a little warm even with the heat down, maybe from the jacuzzi usage. Very good staff and unfortunately pool still broken and getting repaired but I wasn't looking for a pool anyways myself but something to...

'Staff were wonderful!'
