'Terrible smell when entered building. Asked person checking us in about the smell and she said that there isn’t a smell and her attitude and her demeanor were very unwelcoming and rude. We were tired from our trip and it was late. We asked for a refund and she said no because we went through a third party. We went and looked at the room and it smelled worse than the lobby and the carpet was filthy and there was mold in the bathroom. We immediately left and found another hotel and called...

'Checking in was awful as they tried to sell us a more expensive room with all kinds of excuses. Fine if you want to upgrade us for free, but don’t start with all the nonsense. The rooms are in need of an update. Would not stay here again.'

'This was our third time staying here. The first two times were as a couple and we loved our rooms. They were clean, spacious and comfortable. This time we went as a family and got the suite. It was definitely not the cleanest. The night stand and around the phone had an entire layer of dust. The bathroom floor and shower could have been cleaner. There was stuff on the walls and curtains. The pool area could have been cleaner. Other than that it was a comfortable stay and staff were polite.'

'We typically like to stay in secluded out of town locations, but wanted to give this a try. It was cute and very clean inside. It was very quite at night so no problem with noise. Jan and Bob were great! Would definitely stay again!'
