'perfect for a couple nights while snowboarding at the ski hills nearby! the lovely lady, who i’m assuming is the owner, was just the sweetest lady. she was more than happy to help us sort out transportation around town and to the ski hill, make dinner reservations for us, and drive us to the shipping outlet to ship our bags to the airport. i would absolutely recommend, and i will definitely be back! '

'We stayed for 17 days. The listing states "ski in / ski out access". This is untrue. The property is a 15 minute walk from the hotel. There are portions of the walk that are unsafe if there is snow in the side of the roads, busses and traffic have to stop and go around pedestrians. The ski shuttle stop is at the resort. 'We verbleven slechts 1 nacht hier, het is een basic accommodatie, maar zeer netjes en goed onderhouden in een familiale sfeer. De kamers zijn klein, maar schoon. Het geheel komt een beetje gedateerd over, maar is perfect in orde. Het ontbijt was was gewoon goed, niets speciaals. Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame mensen. Het hotel ligt wel een eindje van de dorpskern van Akakura, toch zeker 15 minuten wandelafstand. Prijs/kwaliteit was perfect in orde.'

"The staff was really great and helped me deal with a situation created by both another hotel and hotels.com so I am really grateful for that. The free meal at night is really a great add on, and delicious. The room was clean, big, with everything you need and the window could open which was great considering the nights were cool enough to get some fresh air. Location is perfect as well, right next to the castle. They have pyjamas from S to XL. Didn't try the communal bath but I liked that there is a code for women. There is a 7 Eleven nearby."
