Our host John was extremely helpful. The place is quite eclectic! Definitely has a hippie new age vibe with some Christian and old western decor as well. We will always remember it! I loved the old school vibe. I personally missed a dishwasher a little bit, but it was just because I didn’t read the description carefully enough. Otherwise, the kitchen was fully stocked and perfect for use. We were only a couple of minutes from Joshua Tree national Park, which was perfect since we wanted to spend our days hiking. It was quiet and off the main road, which is just what we wanted.

We loved his restaurant recommendations Pappy and Harriet and Yucca restaurant (middle eastern). We also cooked and had everything we needed to cook. We loved our stay there and would recommend it yo anyone.

Incredible place, wonderfully accommodating and thoughtful host. I am already hoping to get back and stay there again. The location truly could not be better for getting into the park and spending time in town. The house itself is beautiful, and definitely merits a longer stay than I was able to do—I would happily stay there for a week or longer.
