'Amazing place to rest and relax!!'

'Stayed at this amazing updated lakefront cottage with my sister and niece for the Frankfort 70.3 Ironman race. Location could not be better. Cottage is updated and pictures are accurate. Host was VERY accommodating and great, very fast communication through the whole process. Comfortable beds. Kitchen had all the necessities to make this place your home. 10 stars all the way around. 'Selfishly, I'd really rather that this location remain a secret for my personal use as it is a real gem. Everything listed by the host is true but they did not convey how wonderful the space/location is. We enjoyed numerous sunrises and sunsets at the water front and short walks as all that was necessary to go for food and/or shopping. Best of all was the hosts were very accommodating and pleasant to interact with. We kept the windows open so we could enjoy the cool, northern Michigan evenings...

Only issues were minor, some silverware had to be rewashed, personal communication was non-existant leaving it unclear how to ask questions for like finding extra blankets...which we never found. 'We were looking for a place to stay for a few nights near torch lake and we definitely booked the right place! The highlight of our trip was renting a pontoon and going to see the sand bar on torch lake. We really didn’t have much of a plan after that, because our stay was limited, so we messaged the host and she was more than helpful offering many suggestions! We went on an adventure to see the sand dunes and visited transverse city. The cottage had everything that we needed and was very clean!...

'We were thrilled with the indoor and outdoor spaces with this property. As reviews stated there is some road noise being near a busier road, but the amenities and the view make it barely noticeable. We enjoyed sipping wine on the outdoor deck, overlooking the lake, as well as roasting s’mores around the large and tidy fire pit. We had one full day of rain but had plenty to entertain both the adults and kiddos. Excellent host communication. Will stay here again!'

'Nice place with plenty to do around town'

'My spouse and I stayed with our dogs for a long weekend. It was quiet, clean and John was very communicative with any questions. We also enjoyed the use of the dog run so we could avoid chasing furry babes who may have wanted to wander into the woods. The house is not far from so many must-see northern towns and attractions. We hiked and ventured out most days without feeling like we were driving all over Northern Michigan. We hope to bring our family back for a stay in the future. It felt like...

'Communication with property owner / manager was prompt and friendly. Property was in great shape and well stocked with all the necessary amenities in the kitchen and bathrooms. Plenty of games for the whole family to enjoy and pass time. Plenty of room for our party of 10. Would highly recommend and will likely rebook should we ever return to the area.'

'Ray's cottage is an awesome traditional cottage. Cottage is clean and very well maintained. The stone fireplace and deck views were amazing. Cottage sits on a very nice large wood lot. Loved listening to the Loons in morning and evening. Excellent fishing lake, caught several good size large mouth bass and a few smallies. Great location and area to see all the local beautiful beaches, lakes and towns. I definitely recommend and want to return soon. Great place Ray!'

'The house is very spacious and it's located right on the lake with it's own private beach. The property is located in a quiet area off the main road but still close enought to Traverse City. Carole was very quick to respond whenever we needed to reach out.'

'We enjoyed “our” cozy cabin in the beautiful fall!! There is no place like Suttons Bay. The cabin had everything we needed. Clean, nicely stocked with dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, coffee filters and firewood!!! We’ll be back!!'
