'First time in a real B&B and it was wonderful. We were pleasantly greeted by our host and she showed us our room and explained to us, what to expect during our stay. Clay was very knowledgeable about the area, pointing out places to eat and how to reach all the hiking trails. She was a very good conversationalist. We had wonderful conversations about our lives, family and friends. We spent most of our time hiking, sight-seeing all the waterfalls, covered bridges and all the beautiful creations...

'My husband and I spent our 40th wedding anniversary at the Cottage in the Woods. We travel often and mainly use VRBO if we are not staying in a hotel. We typically do not stay at B&B properties but I am so glad that we chose this one! The hosts are wonderful! They make you feel so welcome and comfortable (like visiting old friends). 'A fantastic experience. The property is gorgeous, the room was private, comfortable (in-room climate control) and exceptionally clean. The proprietors, Michelle and Roger, were welcoming and helpful, guiding me to a great local restaurant for amazing food, a couple adult beverages and relaxing live entertainment. 'I travelled with my mother to hike the Falls Trail at Rickett’s Glen, and we wanted to be comfortable in our downtime. This place was perfect. It’s just a few minutes to the park itself, and the parking lot at the bottom of the trail is right down the road.
