'Perfect location for travelling around the lake and for going out in the local area. Delicious and ample breakfast, tailored to your needs with plenty of tasty options which set us up right for a long walk. Super comfy bed, warm, little nice things like milk and good advice on walks and local sights. They also gave us biscuits to keep us trucking on our walk on our way out the door. '

'I have stayed this weekend in room 113 - I have to say firstly what amazing staff! The bloke who cleaned my room helped me numerous times with locking myself out. He was so polite and nothing was too much trouble. Batman who is from Dubai , very friendly and polite and knowledgeable about his job. Had a very interesting conversation about champagne. 'Very pretty country location. The rooms including common rooms were all lovely. The tiny bathrooms were cramped and windowless and let the property down. Breakfasts were lovely, with lots of choice. 'Glad we stayed here. Had a great roast dinner Sunday. We felt safe there and the bed was very comfy so we had a good sleep. Bathroom needs some maintenance..the grout in the shower is black and the tub/shower collects 3” of water during a short shower. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay. '
