'Heerlijke week gehad in deze fijn en comfortabel ingerichte en schone lodge. Van alle gemakken voorzien. De keuken is zeer compleet. De buitenruimte is ook erg fijn. Hef park is rustig. Op loopafstand is niet zoveel te doen maar we hebben veel prachtige uitstapjes met de auto gemaakt naar o.a. Totnes, Dartmouth, Brixham en Dartmoor National Park.'

'Prima locatie dichtbij Exeter, Torquay en Dartmoor. De huisjes zelf zijn dringend aan een opknapbeurt toe. Onze keuken was vervallen, de apparatuur werkte wel, maar was zo oud dat we niet meer konden zien welke knoppen we moesten indrukken om eea te gebruiken. De douche en bedden waren goed, maar de rest vh meubilair was verouderd en aan vervanging toe. We konden niet op de bank zitten omdat deze doorgezakt was. De vloerbedekking zat vol met vieze vlekken.'

'Staying in the lovely cottage in Shaldon was an absolute delight! The accommodation itself is excellent and close to amenities. The village boasts a bakery, inviting pubs, and the fantastic Clipper restaurant, ensuring there's never a shortage of delicious dining options. Additionally, the short walk to Teignmouth provided ample opportunities to explore the pier, browse quaint shops, indulge in cozy cafes, and even take a scenic ferry back to Shaldon, making it a truly memorable and picturesque...

'We were 3 families with mostly older teens and young adults. House was very well equipped and in a great location for the seafront. There is short term parking outside for unloading and then a cheap long stay car park a few minutes walk away. House was a good size with a sunny backyard area with large table. Contrary to other reviews, there are 2 proper showers which was more than adequate for us. Everything was very clean and ready to go with keypad entry so easy to get in.'

"There is an enormous lack of maintenance for the building, estate, garden. Outside swimming pool. Only some rooms have been renovated. The floors in the hotel are uneven everywhere, so that the beds are standing skewly on the floor which causes a very bad and unhealthy nightrest. This hotelis not worththe money we paid: nearly 200 eur per night for 2 adults and 1 child. The personnel is very kind, always ready to help and doing everything they can to make customers satisfied. "
