'First time back since under new management and it has been redecorated. Stayed in one of the front units, 1A. Friendly, welcoming receptionist/manager, clean and tidy and refreshed after a makeover. Kitchen much improved with nice double door fridge, excellent grocery storage. Has a breakfast extension for 5, as well as a dining room table with seating for 5 and high chairs at table on verandah, which overlooks the busy road. 'We had an awesome stay with our family over the New Year period. Even though the hotel was right by the main road, we felt very secure knowing our car was safe in the property. The new owners are great to deal with, very accommodating and quick to rectify any issues. The property was clean and the rooms have been updated which feels very modern. Great stay, will definitely be back next time we are in Tauranga/Mount Maunganui'
