Cozy Snow Days

Beautify home with a great layout for separating teens from adults. Construction of the home was very detailed. Garage was converted into a game room, which kids enjoyed. Completely fenced in yard was a bonus. It snowed while we were there, so a little scary driving down the mountain. They did schedule us a snowplow that salted the main drive down the steepest portions of the mountain. Definitely need a 4x4 vehicle when it snows in mountains.

Nice getaway

We are from Florida and wanted a change of scenery in addition to a peaceful and quiet New Year’s Eve. Vista View was perfect for this. We had our 2 dogs who were grateful for the quiet New Year’s Eve as normally they would need to be medicated and hide underneath the bed. We even got a little snow the eve and New Year’s Day which we were quite excited about being Floridians. The cabin was spacious and clean and had all the amenities we needed to be comfortable. Communication was quick and responsive. Thank you!

The house and decor were beautiful and comfortable. It was the best pet friendly place we’ve ever stayed. The fenced in yard was perfect! We really enjoyed the game room, the fire pit, and outdoor games. The location was quiet and secluded. We definitely plan to return!

Great stay in High Country NC

Beautiful location. The house was clean and comfortable. Utensils and cookware are excellent and the hot tub was perfect and easy to use. The house was very comfortable and cozy, and also a great jumping off point for some of the amazing local outdoor activities. The dogs loved the yard as well.

Great home!

We really enjoyed our stay. The home was very comfortable. It was really great if you have a dog with the fenced yard. Lots to do- horse shoes, ping pong, shuffle board, grill out and just enjoy the view. We will be back!

Excellent Location, all the comforts of home.

Excellent communication prior, during and in follow-up from our check out. Property is nestled between Boone and Banner Elk. Amazing location, just a hop,skip and a jump to the Mast General. Outdoor fire pit, appreciated the views on the back porch while rocking in the rocking chairs. Indoor fireplace was nice for taking the chill off the morning air. Having 2 Owners Suites was a big plus. Beautiful, fenced in yard, game room…this place has it all!

Not worth the rental price

A large house and we loved having the fenced yard for the dog. However, the house wasn’t completely clean (especially the kitchen) and the house and furnishings are showing a lot of wear and tear. Outdoor furniture needs replacing (missing cushions, dirty).

Vista View was a nice cabin getaway in a beautiful area.

It was an easy experience to rent with good communication with the rental agency. The cabin was as pictured and was very nice and spacious. It was well stocked for kitchen needs and Linens and towels. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend staying here for a mountain adventure.

Peaceful & Wonderful

We came up for the Highland Games and this was the PERFECT spot for our family! We enjoyed the amenities the house provided and the view was beautiful. We were never bored and really enjoyed our time! The couches were so comfortable and I ended up napping every single time I laid on them. It was well stocked with items in the kitchen for cooking and we didn’t need a thing while we were there.. the hot tub was a DREAM and just perfect for the cooler nights.. we roasted s’mores out by the fire pit and made the best memories. Beautiful, clean and every one enjoyed it!

Beautiful Cabin

This beautiful cabin sits near the top of a steep winding road. We found it very clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. It had everything we needed - even a crockpot. We spent time between Sugar Mountain and Beech Mountain where our adult kids went skiing and snowboarding. The location of this home worked great for this purpose. We really enjoyed the fire pit and game room. The only improvements we’d suggest would be to increase linens (bath towels and kitchen towels). You get only 1 towel per guest. Thankfully there is a full size washer and dryer so the linens were a very minor inconvenience. The management company did a great job of providing check-in and check-out instructions. They stayed in contact making sure we were enjoying stay. Our family had a great time enjoying this cabin and we are picky, lol! If you get a chance to visit this part of North Carolina we highly recommend Vista View.

Wonderful Time!

We enjoyed every minute of our time at Vista View! The children enjoyed the game room and Tweetsie Railroad. A plus that our fur baby was with the family as well. Overall just a great time and location.

Great family Getaway!

I hesitate to give it 5 stars- only to keep down its popularity- but it really earned 5 stars. The cabin is comfortable with all the amenities. It is a quiet getaway but not too far from activities. The views of the mountains were inspiring. Kitchen is fully stocked. Furniture is comfortable, clean and cozy. All patios have good comfortable seating and tables for relaxing with coffee or a bowl of soup as you watch the sunset. The extras from wood for fire and s’mores sticks were provided. There are sufficient linen supplies. Check in and out was seamless. Kids loved the game room!

Awesome Cabin

We absolutely loved this cabin and our stay. We will be back. It’s great with a bedroom and bathroom on each floor. Loved the fenced yard for the dog. I can’t say enough great things about this place. We had so much fun staying here.

Really nice property with great views

Very nice property. Perfect for smaller party. Really loved the wrap-around deck with mountain views and game room. My only complaints are that the carpets in upper level bedrooms were a bit dingy and bathrooms didn't seem like they were thoroughly cleaned before our arrival. Garbage container outside was also overflowing from previous visitors so there was hardly any room for our trash.
