'First I’ll address the driveway.It’s steep, just as described in the description as well as comments. Our 4WD vehicle went up just fine but our other vehicle did not. It stayed safely parked at the bottom of the driveway. 'My 13 year-old daughter and I stayed here for a mother-daughter getaway skiing trip. The locaion could not have been better, the hostess was gracious and quick with responding when I forgot the entry code and lost my Wi-Fi coverage, and we were close to the slopes and everything we wanted to see. The house was well equipped and comfortable. '

'A perfect location for activities in Blowing Rock, Boone, and all the wonderful things to do in the area. The cabin was well appointed and beautifully done. We were traveling with a friend and the cabin splits so each side has a master bedroom - perfect for two couples. We were there just as the leaves were starting to turn and sitting on the deck was the perfect ending to each day. A choice cabin. '

"One night stay here after staying at their sister hotel in Raleigh. The property itself is fine but no atmosphere compared to Raleigh. Easy parking, clean and comfortable room. Not much to do within walking distance, except a burger takeaway. We tried to walk to a nearby microbrewery. It should've been a 5 minute walk, but we found it impossible to cross the 6-lane highway in front of the motel so gave up and went back to our room. Maybe, as Europeans, we're not used to the American way of driving everywhere, but to visit a brewery, walking would seem a safer option. Pleasant enough motel but not sure we'd return."
