'BEWARE: A/C did not work upon check-in. We arrived at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, turned the AC on as the cabin interior was in the high 70’s & departed for a scheduled dinner party. We returned to cabin at 11:00, cabin at upper seventies, high humidity, & no wind. I called the after-hours number at 11:45 and clerk had me run thru then thermostat readings in detail for 30 minutes, trying to document that the system was on property, but not operating. 'Home was very cozy and still plenty of room. Everything was very clean. LOVED the screened in porch and swing, we wish we spent more down time there instead of all the sight seeing. Hot tub was used every night to relax after a day of walking. Could’ve used a full length mirror for us women, and the GPS was very confused! (We drove by 5 times and the only cabin we could see down the hill had a different address than the one we were looking for so better directions could’ve been helpful) But...

'The cabin was beautiful and exactly as described. Unfortunately the cabin had no heat due to a storm the weekend before we came. but the hosts were very attentive and attempted to have it resolved but ultimately offered a full refund which we appreciated. We come to area every year so maybe next time '

'We enjoyed the quaint cabin surrounded by trees for privacy. It was very clean and well maintained. Our only issue was the water smelled bad, I believe it is because of the iron from the well water. We used bottle water to brush our teeth. That may be common for the area, we were just not expecting that. Also, it says 6 miles to town but it is curvy roads and took us about 15 minutes; not a big deal but wanted to make that clear. I would stay again, just be prepared for the water issue.'

'It was perfect for us! It was a last minute trip for my daughter's birthday but the reservation and check-in was a breeze and no stress! The cabin was immaculate and exactly as described! The hot tub was clean and we enjoyed it quite a bit both nights! Thanks so much!'

'The layout of this property was awesome and unique. The showers are amazing! We loved the hot tub. The unit is very close to the pool, which was great but definitely added a bit of noise late at night. We didn’t mind. The best thing about this property, in my opinion, is the proximity to the giant cross. I knew there had to be a way to walk to it and I found it! We loved staying here and would definitely stay here again. The hosts were excellent and super responsive. This place was super clean...
