Enjoy the views from this 1 Bedroom + Loft Cabin. With floor to ceiling windows, you will be mesmerized by the beauty of the Smoky Mountains. Located approximately 6 miles from Pigeon Forge, this Bluff Mountain cabin offers mountain views that will leave you breathless.



The main level offers 1 bedroom with a Queen Size Bed, full bathroom, fully-equipped kitchen, living-room and dining room area. Upstairs in the open loft area, you will find a Queen Size Bed, full bathroom, and pool table.



The Space:

Located near the tippy top of Bluff Mountain, House of the Rising Sun offers magnificent mountain views without ever having to leave your Smoky Mountain cabin. The southern breezes lift the soul and all your cares seem to disappear at this mountainside retreat. With the expansive amount of windows, viewing the mountains from either level is incredibly indulging.



Outside on the U-shaped covered porch area, enjoy the smell of fresh mountain air as you take a moment to relax. The outdoor hot tub is nice to relax in after a long day hiking in the Smokies.



The cabin features an electric fireplace and 1 big screen television. There is a full-sized, fully-equipped kitchen with microwave and coffeemaker and a charcoal cooking grill outside (bring your own charcoal).



Enjoy the convenience to area attractions like Dixie Stampede, Dollywood, and The Christmas Place.



The road up to the cabin is very STEEP. The access road to this cabin is paved but does have an incline. At times it narrows to one lane. It's about 1/2 mile of steepness. We can make it up in a Prius with no problem. This cabin is not for the less adventurous type. If you want flat roads this is not for you. If you want to be near the park with a breathtaking view and hiking nearby... look no further!



Motorcycles and trailers are not recommended. 4-wheel drive is recommended for adverse winter conditions. No refunds for weather or driving issues.



There is a floodlight camera on the exterior of the cabin to monitor the entryway. It lights the walkway for our guests, captures video of any wildlife that wanders near the cabin, and helps with weather monitoring and occupancy compliance.



Minimum age 21 to reserve the cabin.



Guest Access:

You get the entire cabin to yourself.



The Neighborhood:

The cabin is 15 minutes from the Pigeon Forge Parkway and about 25 minutes from Dollywood, Splash Country, Dixie Stampede, the Titanic Museum, Tanger Outlet Mall, and many other attractions. It's close enough to be convenient but far enough away to make you feel like you're in the mountains.



Other Things to Note:

The fireplace is shut down April to beginning of October - it's an area standard!



Interaction with Guests:

We are pleased to provide you as much information about the area as you like, but we won't bother you during your stay. We won't be onsite but are online to ensure you have a memorable stay.
