The hotel is located along the main road to West End, and can be somewhat noisy with loud motor bikes, but this noise level would be the same at other properties as well. 'I loved the location of this property! The buildings themselves have so much potential. The insides are very outdated and run down. The coffee maker was burnt and stuck to the warming plate and the sheets had drains. BUT you can’t beat the location and super friendly staff. The pool was super clean and warm with a nice outdoor shower. I would definitely come back here if they lowered the price for current condition of the buildings. And I would bring my own sheets. You can’t beat the location...

'This is an old school cabin that was very comfortable. The cabin had seen better days (flooring) but great hot water, microwave, and a refrigerator. We were in cabin 3 and our covered porch had a great view of the water and the main intersection of West End. Our maid was top notch and took great care of us. Satellite tv gave us both the AFC and NFC Championship games. There is an Argentina restaurant around the corner that had the best grilled skirt steak -we went back three times! A wonderful...

'We had an excellent stay here, the property is gorgeous and very well kept. The room was very large and comfortable and the food at the restaurant including free breakfast was fantastic. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. 2-3 min walk to the lovely west bay beach but tucked away and quiet. Would definitely recommmend! '

'I traveled with my two teenagers and they loved the lodge they liked the feeding the animals too. I appreciated the free breakfast and the quick walk to the beach. Celeste, the owner was amazing and Lorelei at the front office also! Super helpful and helped me with horseback riding for my daughter and charter fishing for my son. Cannot recommend West Bay Lodge enough! We are going back next year too!'
