'The posting on Expedia was false. The room we stayed in was a shack outside. The AC unit blew like crazy rattling off the wall. I’d like a call from Expedia to discuss this matter!'

'Quiet, comfortable beds. The room is very small, one less piece of furniture would make it easier to navigate. The room was clean to begin with, however I was there 5 nights and no one ever swept the floor. The entry is from outdoors, and the floor is hard wood, so it needs to be cleaned. I ended up finding the broom and sweeping myself. The plastic glasses provided were not clean ( one literally had lip- prints on it! The plug for the alarm clock radio was covered with cobwebs and dead...

'Really neat place and right near everything in town. If you book a stay here, try to get a chat in with the owner! He is a knowledgeable fellow with loads of stories and history about the area. Also, if you are a runner completing the Keys 100 (as I did), this is right by the finish, has an excellent and wide shower to wash all of your pain away, and a bed that you will not want to leave once you crash down.
