'Check-in time was delayed for hours. when returned, room was still not ready so was allocated another. It had a worn-out bathroom. Free WiFi isn't free, it's "The Cloud" and I couldn't log-in to it anyway, so had no WiFi for 3 days. Had a problem with the Credit card payment not registering in their machine when checking-in, & upon returning home find 4 billing entries on my credit card statement instead of one???'

'I have stayed at the Feathers several times and find it to be very comfortable with nice and friendly staff. The only downside is that sometimes the bed doesn’t get made although I have advised the staff and hopefully this will be addressed. Also the free wifi isn’t satisfactory as it drops all the time. All in all, I would still be very happy to stay there again in the future. A big plus is the pub which serves great food. '

'This is an old building and has some limitations on what it can do to improve. Rooms and corridors are in need of a refurb. Shower cubicle was tiny. Staff were good and the check in person on reception was very friendly and knowledgeable. Public areas nice and in a good location.'

'Everything was perfect - thank you Catherine. Linked pub opposite hotel for really good food and beer. Excellent location for visiting Bletchley Park - less than 15 min drive. Would certainly visit again and recommend The Bell without hesitation.'

'It was a beautiful period room, the pub downstairs looked amazing, we got in quite late so it had stopped serving food sadly. Really quiet over night and a beautiful location. I will be returning with more time!'

'Reasonably priced accommodation with excellent food, comfortable bed and pleasant room. The room carpet was dog-eared with stains all over and the table in the dining room needed a proper clean as it was so sticky that some of my newspaper remained stuck to it!'

'Heel gezellig hotel in mooi oud dorpje met restaurant en prima ontbijt. Ruime kamers en vriendelijk personeel. fijn voor een paar nachten. Vergeet niet een adapter voor stroom mee te nemen!'

Fijn verblijf

"Fijn hotel, ,metro is dichtbij en je bent snel in het centrum van Londen. Kamers zijn netjes ingericht en schoon. Als tip zou ik graag mee willen geven dat het fijn zou zijn als er iets van variatie bij het ontbijt kan zijn. Nu was er elke dag precies hetzelfde. Dat was goed, maar na meerdere keren hetzelfde ontbijt had iets anders ons nog beter gesmaakt"

"The staff is amazing, the room was very nice. Great location on a 5 minute walk from the airport. Great food and nice bar. The only think i did not like was the smell of sigarettes/sigars on the 4th floor.( the hallway). I told the staff about this but i smelled it al the three days....i think the smell is in the carpet or the wall or something but they should look into that for the future. Overall great stay ,nice people, good food and great location. "
