'They didn’t go out of their way to make us feel comfortable. I know that many places have a binder of things to do nearby and instructions for prepping to leave. Some places also give a bottle of wine or cookies as a welcome gift. This place had a poorly flushing toilet and the flooring was in rough shape. Some planks need to be replaced because you’ll get your sock caught in one. There wasn’t any dish soap. It was very meh but it seemed clean and was a cheap place to crash for the night. '

'We were promised internet/wifi and it didn’t work the entire trip. Contacted the property and she said it was but it wasn’t working until the day we checked out. The beds are IKEA very cheap. Clean but cheap. The couch wasn’t comfortable at all. The TV didn’t have an outlet to plug into or an extension cord to reach to another plug. Finally found an extension coming from the side of the refrigerator on the other side of the wall but had to move the tv over to reach. Once turned on, we were back...

'Cute little duplex style house on an active horse farm. The place was a tad smaller than I expected, but very cute and clean. My son LOVED being able to see the horses in the barn and feed the chickens, as well the playground and creek on the property. Great for a family to stay. '

'I booked a week before I needed the place. I was unable to get any form of response from this host, and the phone number was disconnected. Beware of that when dealing with this host, as something might happen when they’re just dropping off the face of earth. This situation canceled the day I was supposed to check in, and cost me $150 extra as I took my money to a competitor.'

'A friend and I spent five nights at Sojourn and it was a delight. Before we arrived, the owners were responsive to our emails clarifying the lodging. Check in was easy and the apartment was clean and inviting. The kitchen is well stocked with all you need for cooking-not always something at other apartments I have stayed at. Bedrooms and beds were comfortable and bathroom had ample good linens as well as shampoo and lotion. We would stay there again.'
