« Very clean and sweet property. Attractively furnished. Check in was easy. Good communication.Kitchen was very easy to use. Did lots of our own cooking. Would have appreciated some quality stainless steel pots and tops as we can’t use anodized cookware for specific health reasons. »

« Charming cottages (both the Tea House & Ivy Rose) on a lovely property with great location. Mary is a kind and accommodating host! The cottages are unique & rich with character. Access to the Tea House does involve a handful of gracefully landscaped steps down to it’s private outdoor porches. A great spot for coffee in the morning! Will return. »

« Had a great visit here last week for a JMU graduation. Location was a quick 20 minute ride from the house and very convenient to restaurants, shopping, etc., in Harrisonburg. We did try the Ye Olde Coffee House just a quick 6 minutes from the house for wonderful coffee and homemade breakfast bars! Overall the house was clean, well equipped, and we enjoyed the peaceful patio setting during some afternoon downtime. »

« The house overall was good. The upkeep could have been a lot better. There are a few boards on the floor that are coming up. There is a brick that is loose in the family room. In the hallway bathroom, the rack on the wall is broken(a screw is missing) It did feel like the house(inside and outside) was not professionally cleaned in awhile. We came across a few spider webs and spiders in a few corners of the house. We couldn't really enjoy the outside scenery because there were spider webs...

« We spent a wonderful weekend with our family at this home. We arrived early and Austen was very accommodating and we were able to check in much earlier (he was also super nice when we were late checking out whoops!). The house is very cozy and family friendly. Beds were soft. The kitchen had everything you would need although no oven (not a big deal). We were glad for the washer/dryer combo until and our kids were very happy for the playground right by the house. Couldn’t be happier with our...

« Several things were not what was expected. Most notably was ants all over the kitchen counters and sink. And very damp towels folded in the bathroom. The towels had clearly not been dried enough and were presented as if useable for morning showers. But we came to find them wet and smelly. We didn’t have time to dry them so we had to use what we could. Finally the beds were in terrible condition that sank into the middle of the- it was a very unpleasant night sleep. »

« There was someone else already checked into the residence. It was a major life safety issue as it was multiple strangers interacting in a negative manner. Both my partner and I felt very unsafe. »

« Overall a very nice clean and convenient location for visiting Charlottesville, VA. FYI the turn into the driveway, when headed east is a steep turn, which can be tricky at night the first time. One thing that would be nice is a compact washer & dryer unit; that said this is an excellent location in a beautiful setting. »
