'Very well presented and excellent value for money'

'1 night only. Must admit to feeling disappointed at the look of the building that was the hotel. It looked like an old (very old ) Travelodge before they started their extensive refurbishment programme. Have to say I like staying in Marsdens Inns because they are usually super modern and clean . Not saying this wasn’t clean but the exterior let it down for me. Other than that ok for an overnight stay '

'Welcoming staff at check-in. Accommodation is in a great location with a lovely outdoor seating area. Room had everything we needed for an overnight stay, warm, comfortable and clean. Just two things to note, the en-suite needs a blind over the window for privacy from outdoor guests using the seating area, and the shower cubicle has mildew on the grout and tiles, which is rather off putting when stepping in to use! However, a very enjoyable stay and would use again. '

'The room was clean, well furnished and had a cozy feel. We would stay here again, however, there were some minor issues. The toilet flush ran continuously and was audible at night. The cover over the shower plughole was broken and the lead on the kettle was too short and had to be used on the floor. Also the mattress was too firm for us.'

'Ik heb er 4 dagen overnacht. De mensen waren erg vriendelijk, de kamer was netjes en ontbijt super. De Inn ligt in het midden van Shrewsbury, op nog geen 10 minuutjes lopen van het station af. Je hoort niets van het geluid van de straten. De prijs/kwaliteit verhouding is ook goed. Ik heb het hier heel fijn gehad en kom hier voor een volgende keer graag terug. '

'Check in was at a busy bar, and the first person I spoke to told me that someone else would deal with my check-in. So, I was left standing there with my bags with other customers trying to get past me to order drinks - until somebody else turned up. The room was on a terrace next to a children's play area, so it was noisy until the pub part closed. Still, the room was cosy enough. I was told that, when checking out, I could ask the staff present the following morning for an invoice. But, there...

'Lovely hotel, utterly delightful rooms! Yes the curtians need replacing as other people have said, but it's almost in keeping with a 600 year old building. Food was OK but not special. Tutbury is pleasant and the castle is worth seeing! All in all a very pleasant stay and will go back.'

'Nice hotel in a very central area! Parking is a bit tricky since there are no real public car parks within short walking distance (for more than two hours). We stayed there at a Friday night - which is also party night. Our room was located directly above the party zone - and we really felt the beats upstairs. 'Great place to stay overnight. Lovely room only hampered by a very stiff door mechanism and a broken bath plug. Room great quality, lots of drink options including extra bottled water, and a very comfy bed and large TV. Breakfast excellent and the staff couldn't have been nicer, both on arrival and in the morning. Plan to use for future visits to the area. '
