"Rustic Retreat", come stay in our cabin and feel the warmth that we have created in this special home built in 2005 by the local Mennonites. This home is 1 1/2 miles from HWY 111, located in a log home community called 'Cozy Cabin Retreat' on a secluded 2.5 acres. No highway noise here, just peace and quiet and lots of stars! Whether you come for a short weekend or a longer stay, you are sure to relax and enjoy small-town living and all the beauty that the Cumberland Plateau offers.

The front porch has a screened-in porch that provides an additional outdoor dining area and rockers to rock off the stress of everyday life. Out the back door boasts an elevated large deck that will also provide additional outdoor dining and lounging and overlooks the lush hardwood forest. Our home has been decorated with pieces of history that we have found from locals but also has all of the luxuries one would want.

Relaxation is priority, so we have provided high quality bedding and linens. This home has all of the modern conveniences but will take you back in time when things were simpler.

We require all guests to complete guest portals for information verification. You will be asked to provide a copy of your official government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact information, and provide a valid credit card with a name that matches your ID, to complete the guest portal.

Non-Airbnb guests are required a security deposit through the guest portal. Airbnb guests are required a security deposit through Airbnb.

Up to 2 pets are allowed with a non-refundable cleaning fee of $100 per stay.

Our team is available daily between 7 AM to 10 PM Central to address your questions and concerns.

We are VERY STRICT on no parties and no smoking! If either of these occur you will be subject to a minimum $350 charge.

For any food deliveries, shipt.com will deliver them all to you.

The normal sleeping capacity is 4 but we allow up to a maximum of 5 guests per reservation. We charge an Additional Guest Fee of $5 per person per night for the 5th guest.

Guests over 2 years old need to be listed on the reservation. Unlisted guests will be charged $50 per person per night.

Standard check-in time is at 3 PM Central. Early check-in requests are subject to availability. Check-ins before 11 AM Central will be charged with 50% of the nightly rate.

Standard check-out time is at 11 AM Central. Late check-out requests are subject to availability.
