Blokhutten in Spencer

'Sammy and Jessica were amazing, we had privacy and were secluded. They were very responsive and accomadating with any request. Will for sure keep them in mind during our next visit'

'It was the most beautiful and peaceful experience we’ve had in a very long time. We will definitely be back'

'Family of 5 really enjoyed this rustic cabin. Loves the history displayed throughtout the home. Location was superb with a breath-taking view from the back deck that we spent a lot of time on. We enjoyed watching the bats at night and the sunrise was well worth the early wakeup call! We spent time hiking at Savage Gulf State Park and Fiery Gizzard State Park during our stay which was an easy drive from the cabin. This is not a luxury cabin but sits well with those seeking a stay close with...

'Check in was easy and the cabin was nicely decorated. We really enjoyed the back covered porch, it was great for meditating. We didn’t cook anything but there seemed to be enough essentials including a few basic spices to cook, if we wanted to.'

'Lovely and quiet location. Great getaway! Lots to do and see. Hosts left lots of information about what to see and where to eat in a book in the cabin along with providing paddle boats and fishing rods and equipment. From going hiking to sitting back and enjoying the fire pit or hot tub. It was a fabulous adventure!'

'Communication with the host was excellent! They answered my questions immediately. AC was nice and cold which was a plus in the summer heat!'

'Amazing property, location, and host communication!!'

'The cabin is beautiful and wonderfully decorated. A truly amazing stay!'

We arrived very late and had asked for lights to be left on but it was totally dark. We ended up stopping in the road and shining a bright flashlight to see the address in black on the front of the house. Motion lights did come on after we pulled in but went off before we could see to get in. The toilet paper was so thin that...

'We really enjoyed our stay. When we arrived we found that the cleaning crew had accidentally left the freezer ajar and the ice from the ice maker melted all over the floor and under the stove. We immediately contacted the hosts and they drove all the way over to clean it up, apologize, and make sure the rest of our stay went smoothly. They were super nice and responsive. This rental is the back unit of a 3 unit cabin, but it felt very private. We had neighbors for a couple days who were nice and...
