Location is further from the magnificent Beach Bar than indicated on the site - about a 10-min walk or the same drive - but not really a problem especially not on good weather - but otherwise a splendid, quiet and remote haven. 'After a couple of weeks seeing the UK and Ireland with 9 of our kids and grandkids, we wanted a few days to rest. We loved being in the Sligo area and dining at the nearby Beach Bar. Downpatrick Head was great to see & we even drove to the Giant’s Causeway while we were in the area. Sheila’s house was a nice place to rest and relax. We loved attending church in nearby Screen. A great ending to a great trip!'

'Stayed here over the Easter long weekend, at very late notice (booked on Friday night for Saturday arrival). The owner had left easter eggs for my three sons which was a lovely touch. The house itself is beautiful; it looks to be only recently built so I would say we were one of the first groups to rent it. It had everything we needed and was only a couple of minutes walk from the beach. I would definitely recommend and look forward to coming back here again in the future.'

The animals are so well cared for and you can interact with them if you choose. We got up close tor the cows, lambs, horse and llamas— along with a few friendly barn cats.
