Herbergen in Shrewsbury

'Highly recommend to stay at Cromwell’s Tap House. It’s located in the heart of Shrewsbury, at walking distance of pretty much everything in town. Only 7 minutes from the train station. The rooms were located on the first floor above the pub. We heard no noise whatsoever, and only in the morning we heard some cars go by, but it was of no nuisance to us. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable and there were a lot of amenities like a hairdryer, coffee, tea, and towels. The linen were also...

'Amazing'

'Although the hotel facilities were good and the location was very central, our room was above the bar which was a club on Saturday night. The music was really loud till midnight. Although the web site mentioned that they had a DJ, we hadn't expected to be right above it.'

'Op zich een leuke pub, goed eten na wat advies en DAT was niet duur. GEEN parkeerplek, daarvoor moet je 10 minuten lopen EN betalen. Lastig als je in de morgen voor 8 uur moet gaan betalen want het ontbijt begint pas om 8 uur, best laat als je een lange reis voor de boeg hebt. Behoorlijke schimmel plekken in de de kitranden van het bad, super weinig waterdruk, ouderwetse wastafel, zonder planchet en weinig ruimte voor tandenborstel etc. Bed zou nieuw moeten zijn, 6 mnd geleden nieuwe matrassen...

'Some sort of food scattered on the floor freezing cold bedroom felt like we were in a refrigerated room. Rail on the stairs was not safe wobbled as you held onto it. Stuff were very pleasing when we arrived. Stayed for an hour and decided to move out to somewhere more suitable the same day.'

'Had a wonderful 2 night stay here with my partner and my sister . Easy to find , loverly location . Warmly welcomed by there staff . Explained everything we needed to no took us up to our rooms etc . So nice so friendly and approachable . All areas and rooms very clean and tastefully decorated to a high standard . We had a meal in the restaurant the first night which was amazing. From start to finish . Breakfast was equally amazing. . Carnt wait to stay again in the future'
