« The cabin was nicely appointed andtheremote and rural location was just what I was looking for. A bit further from town(s) than I realized but that was not a problem. Also not quite prepared for the unpaved roads but not a problem as I have often driven on dirt in other places. Hosts very helpful and hospitable. »

« Our stay was relaxing and enjoyable and the cottage is just perfect, a little bit of heaven for 2 people.Hannah and Cyrus are wonderful folks, very friendly and helpful. The cottage was clean and charming and the bed was super cozy and comfortable.Hannah had some great recommendations for local places to eat or enjoy a drink and good music and we are glad we did!We look forward to coming back to enjoy the beauty of the area and their hospitality in the future! »

« We were in town for our daughter's wedding at the Lake Morey resort. We stayed the beginning of the week here, with our family prior to moving to the resort for the wedding day and celebrations. It was wonderful! Big enough to accomodate our family, but with three stories and covered porches it was also private to those who want to hang in the lower level or main level or outside. The decor is very nice and modern and furnishings were comfortable. Big TV in the lowest level so we were able...

« This was everything we wanted and more in a honeymoon. The cabin was cozy, clean, and romantic. We wanted somewhere secluded with limited cell service (the WiFi was excellent but we switched our phones off). We were able to enjoy ourselves and our time with limited distractions. We can’t wait to return! »

« The long winding driveway through the forest opens to a park-like landscaped vista. Every flower garden, and they are everywhere you look, was in full bloom. Song Sparrow Cottage has a fairytale, idyllic setting. The cottage itself is nothing short of spectacular in its construction and attention to detail. The kitchen was perfectly equipped with everything. One could never tell that this is an "off grid" property. James and Michele were a pleasure to work with. »

« We wanted to be close to Great River Outfitters and we were. We also enjoyed White River Junction, Woodstock, alpacas, Sugarbush Farm and lots of good food and beer.We encountered a large spider web inside the back door and found the huge spider owner on the fireplace. I don't mind them so mush but My daughter had to dust for other crawlies.We could have used air conditioning the first night as it was so humid but other nights were quite pleasant. »

« This home has it all! Beautifully decorated, cozy fireplace, spacious private surroundings, the BEST claw foot bathtubs, mountain and star views magnificent! We had 12 people and the home’s size afforded us all plenty of privacy. Great stove in kitchen. Plenty of firewood stacked. Off grid living was cool! No TVs! Such a needed break from the seasonal chaos! Highly recommend ❤️ »
