Dans une rue relativement calme pas loin du centre ville, du bord de mer a 15mn a pied du grand centre commercial et de Historic dockyard pour les visites du HMS Victory, HMS warrior etc.. Les chambres sont petites mais suffisantes. C'est très propre avec une bouilloire, tasses etc.. dans la chambre. Je recommande »

« The owners have clearly made a great effort to make sure this old building gives you a welcoming environment. The room was spacious and clean, the Wi-Fi excellent and secure and the room servicing great. The whole environment was well looked after. If you thought that was good? - I can’t speak highly enough of the staff; reception, bar, breakfast & dinner - all different people but all gave excellent service. I have no problem in returning next time we are on the Island. »

« We had a lovely stay at Chequers Inn the staff were very friendly & helpful. The breakfast & evening menus were great & all the food was lovely. The bedroom was large as well as the bathroom the little touches of supplies in the bathroom were great, as was the lovely biscuits & tea supplies in the bedroom. »

« Lovely one night stay in this characterful, olde worlde pub, which has undergone recent refurbishment in a very sympathetic manner, therefore the pub itself, rooms & bathrooms are modern with lovely decor. We received a very warm welcome and all the staff we met were very helpful & accommodating. Rooms are accessed via a separate entrance (due to age of the property steps & paths are a little uneven in places) Very clean & spacious (our shower was huge) with lovely sea views. Well stocked...

"Le point fort de cet hôtel est son emplacement près de la plage superbe, dans 1 quartier vivant sans être bruyant. Les chambres sont simples mais propres et les lits confortables. Les sanitaires communs sont propres. La cuisine est un vrai plus pour petit déjeuner sur place et manger sur le pouce. Attention, il n'y a que 5 places sur le parking, sinon il faut trouver a se garer dans le quartier et payer. Il faut aussi bien respecter son heure d arrivée pour ne pas avoir a attendre le receptionniste. Et si on parle mal l anglais, il faut emmener son traducteur, car le réceptionniste n a pas été très aidant. Hôtel à recommander néanmoins. "
