'Little bit strange with lobby on 12th. Downtown in walking distance. Convention Center 20 min walk Parking not cheap, but all parking garages aren't. Expected more homeless people as the US isn't doing well on that point. Neighbourhood felt safe, '

'I am impressed! This facility is the nicest hostel I’ve been in. The layout is perfect. Great privacy for what it is. Clean, modern, spacious. Common areas are large. I will be looking them up next time I’m in SD. '

'Lovely hotel unique and very good staff The only recommendations are that they have to give hotel guests prefference in one of the restaurants and make up the beds every day and close the corridor for people who are not staying in the hotel. Very noisy in the corridors in the evening '

'Lovely decor, clean and fresh rooms and extremely friendly and supportive staff. Small downside was the limited closet/storage space. And for disabled access, in the shower the soap and shampoo could have been placed a little closer to the shower itself.'

'What a cool place to stay! The whole place was a vibe. I loved the bar check in desk and welcome cocktail. The rooms were very chic, the staff was wonderful, and they even had a speakeasy on site! The rooms were small, but functional. The food at the bar was good as well. We'll definitely try other Moxy locations after this. '

'First let me say that the entire staff at Hotel Republic is wonderful! They were all so kind, respectful, and helpful. In addition, the food at both Trade & Topside Terrace was both delicious & ample. The location is perfect: walking distance to the waterfront, Little Italy, and the Gaslamp neighborhood. We are DEFINITELY planning to stay here again. '
