'I think the hotel is either new or newly run as they seem to be finding their feet. Check-in was 3pm to 4pm and when I called to say I might be around 6:30, I was told "it's only hour and a half from Manchester" and "there might not be anyone here after 5pm". It felt a bit abrupt in all honesty but when I arrived around 5:30 (Friday school holiday traffic), they were pleasant enough. Breakfast starts at 10:30 to 11:30 which is very late and checkout is 10am. Weird timings, hence my theory they...

'Stayed for the David Gray concert at Scarborough Open Air. The farm was a great base. The breakfast was very tasty and made to order. Thank you for a lovely stay , will definitely recommend!'

'We love staying at this hotel. The staff are really helpful nothing is too much trouble. The hotel also has some really thoughtful touches like providing rain ponchos for guests heading to shows at the outdoor open air theatre. When we came back from the show we were abit cold so we loved that we could grab a complimentary hot chocolate from the lounge. They are also showing the World Cup at the hotel Cinema. Touches like this make it a really special place to stay. Can’t wait to visit again!'

'Het ontbijt is net als het hotel gedateerd. Het oogt mooi binnen en buiten, dat is oke, maa4 de kamer en het eten zijn niet uit deze tijd. De tijd staat er stil'
