'We spent a week in this hotel and it was an unbelievable week. Very nice, hotel, very nice staff, very good food, unbelievable nice situated, very quiet, unique quiet. With our rented car we were able to visit all the high lights in the Malaga region, the Alhambra, Sierra Nevada etc., and during the evenings we enjoyed our meals, our drinks and the splendid view over the hills on the terrace of the hotel. 'Cute little B&B right in near the centre of Competa, walking distance to supermarket, bars and restaurants. The room was clean and had all the necessities, a comfortable bed, and roomy shower with lots of hot water. Hosts were very quick to respond and provided easy instructions. The evening view from the terrace was definitely worth it!'

'Joachim und Nathalie sind sehr herzliche und tolle Gastgeber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Joachim hat immer Tipps parat. Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Dachterrasse war unser Highlight. Das Frühstück war gut.und ausreichend. Es gab jeden Morgen frisch gepressten Orangensaft. We were thoroughly satisfied with the 3 nights at La Vieja Botica: - different daily quality breakfast, locally sourced (not forgetting Tracey's signature marmalede), fresh and tasty; by the olive's wood fireplace - modern and fully furnished room, extremely comfortable bed with an ever important door that opens out (able to continuously air the room is a huge plus) - spot on location for the el saltillo hike - just few steps away from the starting point'

Incredible service - Maurice went above and beyond, meeting me at the town border to guide me through town to the parking spot, carrying my suitcase to and from my room, and providing me excellent advice on dining and sights. I also loved the rooftop gourmet breakfast and well-stocked honor bar. Such a thoughtful place to stay.'
