'Nice hotel for 1 or 2 nights. Close to the ferry to/from Puntarenas. Located in a hill ensuring great views. Welcome to the hotel was very friendly. We arrived early but that was not a problem at all. Personnel in general ok but not all very friendly. New to us in Costa Rica where we find hotelstaff in general very kind. 'We stopped in Puntarenas on our way back from the west coast to San Juan. Unless you are curious to see all of Costa Rica, there is not much at all in this area. It's a filthy, poor area with little to offer, even though it is so close to the beach. The hotel is kind of old and tired with an unclean looking pool. Food is mediocre at best. We had a suite in the newly build tower, supposedly with a view over the marina. No view unless you stand on the balcony. We asked for a different room but got...

'The ac unit was not working good. The man at front desk at check in was not nice. . Didn’t inform me about anything, didn’t provide WiFi password or directions to breakfast place. I felt like he was trying to blame us for misplacing tv controls which weren’t working that good either. Stayed two nights because we didn’t want to loose our money.'

'The property is beautiful, Tomas is incredibly helpful and passionate, comfy bed, nice pools, yummy breakfast (bread/ jellies, coffee/tea, juice, fresh fruits, eggs) & close to beaches and Bioluminescent tour in secluded area so plenty of nature to enjoy. The entrance sidewalk is steep so wear hiking/tennis shoes not sandals/ heels, Tomas did offer to help us bring our bags up which was nice but just be aware it may not be accessible for everybody. Einziges Manko ist, dass in der Beschreibung für uns nicht gleich klar war, dass es sich bei den günstigeren Zimmern um ein Gemeinschaftsbad handelt, da explizit das Bad als Ausstattung der Wohneinheit angegeben ist. Aufgrund der täglichen Reinigung war das jedoch nicht so dramatisch.'
