'Our needs were very well met. The pool activities were great fun. i enjoyed the Salsa and Merengue dance class with Ashley and Gustavo and the pool water aerobics classes were great fun. Lulu and others were great instructors. I am on some medicine that needs refrigeration, and the staff brought me a medical refrigerator so I could get my medicine during the stay. 'Nice hotel for 1 or 2 nights. Close to the ferry to/from Puntarenas. Located in a hill ensuring great views. Welcome to the hotel was very friendly. We arrived early but that was not a problem at all. Personnel in general ok but not all very friendly. New to us in Costa Rica where we find hotelstaff in general very kind. 'We stopped in Puntarenas on our way back from the west coast to San Juan. Unless you are curious to see all of Costa Rica, there is not much at all in this area. It's a filthy, poor area with little to offer, even though it is so close to the beach. The hotel is kind of old and tired with an unclean looking pool. Food is mediocre at best. We had a suite in the newly build tower, supposedly with a view over the marina. No view unless you stand on the balcony. We asked for a different room but got...
