'We had a lovely stay at Mad River Valley. The location was perfect for our waterfall/swimming hole adventures and almost daily visits to downtown Waitsfield. The check-in was straight-forward and the home, as expected. Due to the unexpected scorching heat/humidity a couple of nights, the bedroom fans came in handy, as did the washer and dryer. Only regret was not checking out the wooded trails on the property as we spent all of our daytime hours adventuring and exploring nearby. It was a nice...

'The hotel was so charming and had such historic character. I was very comfortable and enjoyed the aesthetic. I did arrive in late evening (930 pm) on a Friday. Was welcomed and checked in. Did not realize that all the local restaurants, convenience stores, food carry out delivery closed by 8 pm. It would be nice to have a food option for hungry arrivala or let people know there won’t be anything available nearby after 8 pm. '

'We were in this area for a wedding to do in Northfield. The location is beautiful. The home charming and very comfortable for kids to Grandparents. The kitchen is well appointed with dish ware and modern appliances. Even with rainy weather we relaxed. Ate. Played games. Very cozy. Bedrooms quite comfortable. Our host were responsive to all our questions. Thank you again. '
