'An absolutely 10 for a retreat rental. Very private despite the owners occupying the top floor of this three-story building. The rental is for the entire second floor with private entrance, and a wrap around veranda with outdoor furniture, and a beautiful view of of the bay (Pender Harbour.) It also has a propane fire pit for those cool nights. Owners Michelle and Dave are wonderful hosts. Dave’s cinnamon buns are a must try. I suggest to order them upon check-in. 'I'm beyond disappointed! We didn't check in until 5pm because our room wasn't ready yet. Undesirable; they might be short-staffed. Our friend’s room was ready so we put our stuff there and went to the pier that's across the street. At 6:30 pm, my son and my mom went to our place to settle in, while my husband and our friends stayed a little longer at the pier.
