'The hotel was in the ideal location for our purpose.It had its own car park which was convenient. The building looks good from the outside, unfortunately the rooms are out dated and ours was very hot. As it was on the ground floor we did not feel it safe to open the larger windows and the small window did not provide sufficient cooling. We had noisy neighbours both above and next door, this was unlucky and could happen in any hotel.'

'The Applestore is lovely located and central for daytrips to Wales, Hereford and lovely towns as Coleford and Kington. We had great diners at the Old Court Hotel and the Fforest Inn, both very good and dog friendly. We would have loved to meet the owners of the Applestore and compliment them on the cottage. 'Het huis ligt op een heuvel en heeft een prachtig uitzicht vanaf het terras. Het is compleet uitgerust. De toegangsweg is soms wat smal, maar heeft genoeg ruimte her en der om te passeren. Wij vonden het prima te doen. Inderdaad wat trappen vervolgens om naar het huis te komen (dus niet geschikt voor mensen die wat slechter ter been zijn, maar verder goed te doen). Mooie omgeving met veel wandelmogelijkheden en natuur. Vriendelijke eigenaren.'
