'The house was beautiful but it was way overpriced for how difficult it was to find it and get to it. It also smells terrible there because of the sarragassum. We were notified a couple days in advance of how bad it smelled but you could tell that there was weeks of horribly smelly sarragassum rotting on the beach.'

'Absolute great stay. We still regret that we booked only 1 night. If you’re looking for a place to stay on Vieques, don’t hesitate to book this. The host Kelly is really nice and takes the time to explain everything about the hotel and the island. Thanks again for everything and hopefully we’ll stay again in the future. '

'Loved staying here. It was a guest house that had great amenities- and if we had stayed longer than 24 hours would have loved to take advantage of the pool and everything else. It was however a great place to call home while on Vieques!!'

'The owner was very kind and helpful throughout our stay. She even gave us a ride when our car wouldn’t start at all, which we really appreciated. She was also very flexible with the time for me to pick up my stored luggage. The room was very clean, well-maintained, and everything was in order. It was also comfortable and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay.'

'We LOVED Casa De Tortuga! It's quant, and perfectly located. The hotel is just far enough from the Malicon that we didn't get to much noise, but close enough that we could walk everywhere we wanted to go in 5-10 min. Skip is an amazing host and made sure we were taken care of. He was able to give us some very helpful tips that made our stay exceptional. We will definitely be coming back to Vieques and will always stay at Casa de Tortuga.'

'This resort was perfect! Excellent customer service. They treat you like family from the time you arrive until the time you leave. We will be back!'
