The agency which manages this place is excellent. They are nearby and VERY responsive. Were super helpful.
The location of this apartment is great. 10/10. It is across the Tiber from the Vatican, & in the historical center.
The apartment is a little dated. The couches, chairs, and beds are not comfortable, a tad dirty, and at the level one would expect in a fraternity house. We struggled to sleep on a thin mattress which had springs which would poke us and the slightest movement of one person would shake the other awake.
AC- The air conditioner in the Master Bedroom did not work. Fortunately, it was replaced. The next renter will benefit. We suffered the heat for a week and an evening of the workman finally replacing the unit. There is another unit in the smaller bedroom, which is adequate. You will swelter in the living room and dining area.
Bathroom - We had trouble with both toilets. Plumber came twice for each toilet. Now fixed, we think. Master bathroom has a sink where the water can not turn off, a shower with no water pressure, and it hasn't been updated since 1940. Bathroom #2 had a shower which functioned, and a toilet which was eventually fixed while we were there.
WiFi - Very slow speeds (25Mbps/1Mbps), and a neighbor rides the connection for free. I lost connection during work calls and conferences, & owner entered twice (with permission) to reset the router for neighbor.
