Residenza il Palazzetto is located in the "Pigneto" neighborhood, very close to the Basilica of Santa Croce in Gerusalemme and the Basilica of San Giovanni in Laterano, both of which are about a 20- to 30-minute walk away.
About 200 meters from the property is the Pigneto Metro station (Line C), and a short distance further on is the Sant’Elena stop on the Termini/Giardinetti regional train line, which takes about ten minutes to reach Termini Station (Rome’s Central Station).
At the end of the street, you’ll also find buses and trams heading toward the city center.
Pigneto is one of the most beloved and popular neighborhoods among young Romans and tourists alike, thanks to its lively and alternative atmosphere. The diverse offerings allow you to spend carefree hours among vintage markets, street food stalls, traditional trattorias, ethnic restaurants, literary cafés, and trendy bars.
Thanks to its distinctive atmosphere, Pigneto is a true natural film set: much loved by the great directors of neorealist cinema, it was chosen for masterpieces such as Roberto Rossellini’s *Rome, Open City*, and Pier Paolo Pasolini set his first film, *Accattone* (1961), there.
In addition, the area features fascinating archaeological sites such as Porta Maggiore and the Tomb of Eurisace.
The neighborhood offers all necessary amenities, and in the immediate vicinity of the residence, you’ll find two supermarkets, a pharmacy, a laundromat, and much more.
Right next to the property are two of the neighborhood’s most famous restaurants.
The entire property was completely renovated in 2023, with special attention paid to the furnishings and details; there is a uniquely designed bedroom (it has no closing door, and the wall features LED lighting along its top) with a French-style double bed, a living room with a sofa bed (available only upon request and for an additional fee for the linens kit), a fully equipped kitchen, and a spacious bathroom with a shower, sink, and bidet.
The apartment has a small courtyard with a table and chairs where you can enjoy breakfast outdoors, and guests have access to a large terrace on the upper floor furnished with chairs and small tables where you can relax and smoke.
