Wederom aangenaam verblijf in Cardinal Cesi
Weer een meerdaags, aangenaam en relaxed verblijf in dit blijvend, bijzondere hotel. Gelegen aan de ingang van het St. Pietersplein een uitvalsbasis bij uitstek. Laat na een drukke dag de toegangsdeur achter je sluiten en de, bijna serene, rust biedt jou wat je nodig hebt.

Romantisch hotel op prachtige locatie.
Mooi schoon hotel. Kamer was klein maar heel mooi en vooral schoon. Ligging is op 10 min. lopen van het centrum en het Viticaan ligt letterlijk om de hoek. Het enige minpuntje dat ik kan verzinnen was het ontbijt. De vleeswaren die open en bloot op een tafel uitgestald waren en het was erg karig maar wel voldoende.

Midweekstay in Rome
Een hotel, gelegen aan de toegang tot het St. Pietersplein en Vaticaan. Hotel in een voormalig kloostergedeelte, waarbij het overige gedeelte nog volop en actief dienst doet als klooster. Vanuit een drukke stad, "toetreden"tot de sereniteit van het hotel op het moment dat je binnenkomt. Mooie entourage, zeer plezierige binnentuin die op de achtergrond de straatgeluiden toelaat. 2-persoonskamer voldoende en voorzien van ruim 2-persoonsbed. Badkamer aan de kleinere kant. 2 personen tegelijk niet echt mogelijk. Ontbijt ruim, rustiek, italiaans, fris en goed verzorgd en gepresenteerd. Restaurant heeft een beperkte kaart zonder vlees- of visopties. O.i. prefab gerechten. Zeer goed betaalbare gerechten en drank! Mooi, toch?! MAAR.......... DE HOTELKAMERS ZIJN ZEER GEHORIG. Eerste 2 nachten NIET geslapen. Van toiletgang, telefonades, snurken, koffers in-uitruimen. Alles gebeurt gevoelsmatig NAAST jouw bed! Zo jammer voor dit plaatje van een hotel met super-personeel!!

Leuk en prettig hotel vlakbij het Vaticaan
Prima rustig hotel vlakbij de Sint Pieter en de Engelen burcht. Zeer behulpzaam personeel, schone kamers en een erg goed en lekker ontbijt. Het hotel is een oase van rust na een drukke dag in de stad.

Geweldig hotel direct naast het Vaticaan
Fantastisch hotel direct gelegen aan het Sint-Pietersplein. De beste locatie voor iedereen die het Vaticaan wil bezoeken! Vlakbij zijn vele leuke restaurantjes en winkels. De andere bezienswaardigheden zijn op loopafstand.

Historic location and building - only 50 yards from St Peter’s. Small rooms but nice. Excellent breakfast. Wonderful courtyard - great for a hanging around after a day of sightseeing and shopping.

Wir waren schon einige Male in diesem Hotel, es liegt sehr schön direkt am Petersplatz, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind sehr gut fußläufig zu erreichen. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr gut, für jeden etwas dabei. Der Innenhof ist ein Ruheort, wenn man von Trubel der Stadt genug hat. Das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel ist mittlerweile in die Jahre gekommen, es bedarf an einigen Stellen einer Renovierung.

Hotel was excellent. Perfect location for St. Peter's Square Christmas and Immaculate Conception special events including unveiling of an incredible nativity designed by Maestro Franco Artese; walkable to other neighborhoods; a large variety of restaurants and shopping; so many other special Churches, historic sites and museums easily reached by walking or taxi.

Overall a 2/10. Staff was very reluctant to help us with small requests to try to improve the comfort of the hotel. Extremely small room and bathroom. Almost could not fit in the tiny shower. Basically paying for location only. Bed extremely uncomfortable.

The best upgrade we've ever had! Upgraded from deluxe room to garden suite. Facilities were spotless and superb by any standards. Our bedroom even had a painted ceiling in a similar style to those in many of the churches. The management could not have been more pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. Location on the Via Della Conciliazone right outside Vatican City. We like walking and were able to walk to all the classic historic sites from our hotel. The longest walk, to the Colosseum, was only 40 minutes, and very pleasant walking in the shade by the river. We had a brilliant 4 days/nights and were so pleased we had booked the Palazzo Cardinal Cesi. Don't usually bother writing a review but the hotel deserves it. Thank you.

The Palazzo is stunning. The rooms are immaculate with every necessity. Breakfast was fabulous with a lot of variety. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Plus it’s very close to St. Peter’s and all the Baticsn attractions as well as within walking distance of others (if you like to walk and are able). Would definitely stay there again!

This is the place for the perfect stay in The Eternal City! The rooms are clean, pretty and a nice size. You are steps away from St. Peter's Basilica, marvelous shopping and great restaurants. If there are other areas of this magnificent city you want to visit, there is a taxi stand around the corner. From check in ( friendly smiles and help with luggage - Thank you, Patrick!) to arranging a car service or taxis - Thank you Claudia! to the amazing breakfast - AWESOME cappuccinos!!! This was a little gem of a hotel, very secluded and literally a stones throw from St Peters Square. It has a security entrance so no-one can walk in off the street and the staff were exceptional. There is someone on front desk 24/7 so it was no issue when we had to leave for the airport at 5am. They organised the taxi and even breakfast boxes to take with us so we had some food. The location is great for the Vatican and a beautiful walk of about 25-30 mins along the river to the centre of Rome but so much to see on the way. Piazza Navone is only about 15 minute walk, Castle Saint Angelo is about 5 minutes and there is no issue for transport if you don't want to walk. The only issue for anyone who might be taller or larger than us was the shower was small. This was no major issue for us but could be if you are very tall or solid. This may have just been our room so you might want to check. The beds were very comfortable and the room was always cleaned early and impeccable when we returned. You will enjoy your stay here.

This hotel was excellent! We stayed for four nights while in Rome and everything exceeded our expectations. The staff were friendly and helpful, assisting us with getting an idea of our location and surroundings. And let me tell you, that location is amazing! Seated just outside St. Peter’s Square, you are greeted with breathtaking views every time you enter and exit the building. Further, there was a complimentary breakfast every morning that was a nice start to the long days of exploring and visiting historical sites. The staff also helped us with arranging transportation to one of our tours, despite us needing it very early in the morning. Over all, I would highly recommend if you are coming to visit Rome and/or the Vatican.

The hotel is literally in front of st peters square. The vatican! Location is amazing!! The hotel is very old and air condition does not work well. Staff is great and very helpful. Free breakfeast. Electricity went out on first night. But overall okay. Lots of restaurants all around.

Although rated as a 4-star hotel, there is limited food service available outside the excellent breakfast service. However, location is perfect and the hotel is brimming with character. The staff are excellent, extremely polite, courteous and helpful. Hotel is located a few minutes walk from the Vatican with walking access to other attractions in Rome and only a few minutes walk from the hop-on/hop-off bus route.

This hotel is very authentic and right by the Vatican. The management was helpful and kind. The rooms were nice and clean. The bathrooms are very small and the shower is tiny. We enjoyed it very much. The area around the hotel is very crowded with lots of travelers and garbage left around but the hotel was very clean.

I love this hotel. It’s the second time I’ve stayed here. Location is amazing, right on the doorstep of Saint Peter’s Square. Easy walk to a metro station. There is a lovely little garden in the hotel grounds. Continental breakfast is included and if you’re heading out sightseeing really early they’ll make you up a breakfast bag to take with you. Staff are exceptional, very helpful and friendly. This hotel is a great base for walking (or using the metro) to the many incredible sights of Rome.

Lo que mas me gusto es su cercanía a la plaza de San Pedro (150 mts), creca del castillo san angelo, de la plaza navona y del panteón. muy buen atención. el unico inconveniente, que resulta muy general en Roma, es que la estación mas cercana del metro esta a 1.1 kms, lo que solucionabamos tomando un taxi que para distancias cortas no es caro

次回は1週間は滞在したい！
もう何回目の滞在になるでしょうか？今回は母と一緒だったのですが、ベッドもわざわざ2台入れてくれていました。 ホスピタリティしかり、安全性しかり、サンピエトロ大聖堂まで徒歩2分。ローマでは(バチカンですが)こちら以外に泊まるつもりはありません。 今回母が迷子になるというちょっとしたアクシデントがありましたが、無事イタリア警察の皆様始め、皆様のおかげで事なきを得ました。 また毎回リクエストし続けてきたカーテンのトップと同じ柄のストライプのベッドカバーが初めてかかっていて、うれしかったです。 また早朝にドアの下から差し込まれるレターが復活していたのもありがたかったです。 法王様にお会いできるチケットをいただいたにもかかわらず、時間がギリギリで多くの人々と同じように、お会いできなかったのは残念でした。 ですが、次回は早めに行動して夢を実現させたいです。 See you soon!
