Positief: Netheid, voorzieningen en staat van de accommodatie en faciliteiten
We had an issue with our train and ended up getting to the property very late at night. We left around 9 the next morning so we really didn't have a lot of time at the property. The view was pretty, but we didn't get to enjoy any time at/near the beach.
The morning of our departure, we had no hot water. I contacted the property owners and didn't hear back for over an hour. By that time we had less than an hour before we needed to leave. There was information on a list in the kitchen that we didn't see. The hot water heater was controlled by a switch in the bathroom by the mirror. The switch looks like a normal light switch with no other labels on it saying 'do not shut off'. We don't know if we mistakenly turned off the switch or if it could have shut off when our power went out momentarily. The power in the entire unit went out late at night as we were getting ready for bed and in the dark we had to reset the breaker on the panel that shut off. Once we heard back from the property owner and got the heater turned back on, it needed time to warm the water. Time we didn't have. We had a 15 hour trip back home that day and couldn't take a shower. That was quite disappointing! We did meet with the owner before we left and he was a very nice guy. I just wish we could have heard back from him sooner so we could have maybe had a chance to shower before we left. So we ended up with a pretty expensive room where we only slept and then left.
