'A good impression on arrival as you drive to the front door. There are a few appointed disability parking spaces but there is additional space that can be used providing it does not limit the thoroughfare. A large parking area is nearby but involves a 5 min walk back. Check-in was handled well for our group although dining that night as a group required meals to be pre-selected to help the catering staff. Whist complying with this requirement, the actual meal service was sporadic with some meals...

'Staf not really available: were zitting in office on smartphones when we were waiting at desk.'

'Goed hotel Lkkr uit de drukte '

'We really enjoyed our stay for two nights at Battlesteads. Two things really stood out - the food was excellent (except chips - a minor thing), and the staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and welcoming without being overbearing. The last point, about how all staff were nice to interact with, was a major selling point and is why we will return. A special shout out to Dan ("Dan, Dan, the beverage man") for being so helpful and recommending Flyte - a top tip! Ad Gefrin sold two bottles to...

'Almost everything OK. Moreover Corbridge is a nice town. I wander about one thing. In the room ther were no hooks and no chairs. What do English people do with clothes? What do they do with their towels? No idea. There is plenty of space for hooks.'

'Excellent stay at this Hotel. Very clean room, excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Would stay here again.'

'Staff was great, location very good, price very good, room was clean. The double bed was very good, but the fold out bed for the 3rd person (teenager) was horrible. Breakfast was very basic, not much choice.'
