« We had a wonderful time at the house. Nice deck off back of house to grill and we played cards. Home is in very quiet neighborhood. Kitchen was fully stocked. The owner was always in touch if we had a question and very friendly. We would stay again! »

« We stayed at Coastal Cottage in Portsmouth, Rhode Island for a week with my wife, son, daughter-in-law, and grandson, and it was absolutely wonderful. The waterfront view was stunning, and the house had all the amenities we needed, plus a great deck for enjoying sunsets. We even made use of the canoes! Overall, it was a fantastic stay and we created some really great family memories. I’d highly recommend it. Owner is a good host and maintained open communication throughout. »

« Excellent place to stay! The house was clean, well stocked and relaxing. There are 3 extremely spacious bedrooms and an additional 2 smaller ones which worked perfectly for our family. We had 1 slight issue (tripped the breaker) and when I messaged the host asking for assistance locating the GFI, they responded immediately. I strongly recommend this property to anyone traveling to the area. »

« My family spent a wonderful week here. The place is well-appointed, carefully maintained, and remarkably clean — it’s clear that the owners care about the house and making sure guests have a comfortable stay. The location is terrific, a short drive from the beach, bird sanctuary, grocery store, etc. The pictures really don’t do justice to the enormous backyard/garden. And Jack couldn’t have been friendlier or more hospitable. We’re already looking forward to coming back next year! »

« Our group "comes home" to Newport to visit extended family. The Stimpson Road house is just blocks from where our father grew up in the 1940-50's. Walking to the Middletown end of First Beach takes about 10 minutes!This cottage has been thoughtfully remodeled. We particularly appreciated the excellent air conditioning and electrical system upgrades. Space is well-used. Beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is nicely appointed. There are several coffee maker options. For us, at least one...

« Very nice clean little room in a good neighborhood. I wish I tried the Thai restaurant. Looked and smelled great. Thought I left my glasses behind, didnt, but the staff was helpful right away. Def recommend. »

« There were 5 of us girls that have been friends since grade school. We all turned 60 this year and celebrated with a trip to RI for 4 days. The Morgan House was perfect for our trip. Very clean. Just as described in listing. Stacy, the owner, has thought of everything and beyond. The snacks on the counter, the coffee available, the water bottles and all the other little extra's. Having 3 bathrooms for 5 women was a ! Very convenient walk to Flo's for a lobster roll and Shultzy's for ice cream....
