'A great place to stay on your next trip to Santo Domingo! The room was clean, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming.'

'We love the property and it is not the first time we stay… Our only problem is the parking other then this problem it is a beautiful property and we will recomended to any one looking for stay in the colonial area.'

'Goede locatie en zeer vriendelijk personeel. '

'The hotel is located at Calle El Conde, the main street. That means you're close to everything (restaurants,bars,...).At 100 m there's even a supermarket ! Our room had a balcony which is very nice to watch people passing by. It also had a kitchenette fully equipped (that we did not use). The room was cleaned every day. The bed was good. The shower was excellent,as well as the airco. Omar and the girl at the reception (forgot her name)were very friendly and helpful ! The only thing that could...

'I’m a regular at the property. It’s become like Cheers where everybody knows my name. As a digital nomad, this location has what I need to conduct my business online: good Internet, connection, supportive staff, and enough restaurants to grab a quick bite in between assignments.'

'Super great customer service'

'Hotel was super clean and staff was very friendly. Breakfast was super yummy but not very versatile as they served the same options every day. The area also felt very safe and secure and was within walking distance of all major tourist attractions. I’d definitely stay here again. One tip is that when inputting the hotel to Google Maps or Uber, you need to specify that you’re going to Kimpton Las Mercedes and not Las Mercedes, which is 20 minutes away in a different side of town.'

'I had a very Nice stay in hotel Luca , the staff was very helpfull, rooms Nice and clean with very goos beds. I loved the breakfast and the rooftop jacuzzi . The hotel is in the centre of zone colonial , its very safe area . I will come back. '

'Goede lokatie op loopafstand van bus en metro. Zeer vriendelijke personeel. Geen moment verveelt bij de zwembad en de Casino. Een aanrader.'

'Really lovely staff, very tranquil and beautiful gardens out back with plenty of area to sit and enjoy a drink or read a book. Very clean room, nice towels, well functioning air conditioning, nice hot water in the shower and great water pressure. Definitely not really quiet on the street outside though, in the very early morning.... so not great if you are a light sleeper or want to sleep in. Inside the hotel itself is quiet and tranquil, but you can hear noise from the street outside the room,...

'Basic no expensive hotel ,in a good condition ,close to restaurant and malecon, supportive staff,'

'Full of history in the old city. Better is ompossible'

'The hotel was clean and beautiful. The staff were friendly but it was hard at times to get information unless you knew to ask. Besides that overall an excellent stay. Felt very safe and was a great value.'

'I had a wonderful stay at this apartment. The place is quiet, clean, and well-organized. The pool at the back is a great place to relax — it's in a covered backyard area with a canopy, perfect for unwinding. Having the whole apartment to yourself is a big plus: you can buy groceries and cook your own meals, like breakfast. The staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and kind — always available whenever I needed anything. I definitely want to come back to this place and I highly recommend it to...

'The room smelled a bit musty. And I find the offer of a massage from the cleaning lady rather odd.'
