Pondville Beach Cottage

This historic cottage features 4 bedrooms and 1.5 baths. It's walking distance to the Pondville Provincial Beach, & pet friendly. Explore the woods, the walking trails, listen to the ocean waves from your deck. For the kids, we have climbing ropes, a trampoline, indoor games and free range chickens (ask about our free range eggs)! Enjoy the fire pit and the  water view. Cold dip and return to enjoy the 2 person sauna.   Like many homes on the island, this is a very old, rustic cottage with lots of charm and the most comfy beds. We live nearby and are accessible 24/7.

We are located 15 minutes off the 104. There is plenty of parking on site. Within a 5 minute drive of the property you’ll find local pubs, live weekend entertainment, a grocery store, NSLC.

There is a shallow stream that runs through the back of the property. Please do not leave young children unattended.

There will also be a few animals roaming the field, far enough that you can ignore. If you do bring your pet (S), please note that there is a 25$ fee. And please keep your pets on a leash (more so for the safety of the free range chickens).

This is an old historic home with lower than normal ceilings. It can be crooked in places !It was not made for a 6’5+ man!

 Firewood is free.

The well water is tested annually.  We advise guests to bring their own water if weary. We provide a water cooler for 10L jugs (we do not guarantee a full jug).

The stairs leading to the four bedrooms are narrow. Please use caution.
