'Checkin very friendly, the park is super clean, parking easy. Apartment good with lot of extra's like dishwasher, washing machine, coffee etc. Close to the black beach. Although there is not much around the location (20-30min drive for a supermarket), thats not the worst. On the big island everything takes time to drive, so for a relaxing place, this hotel is recommended.'

'The property and the unit we stayed in was absolutely amazing. The balcony was right over the private beach and it’s also where the sunset so the view was beautiful. Right out the front door was the pool and spa and a few steps more and you’re on the beach. The unit was very clean and decorated so cute and had every amenity in the kitchen and bathrooms you could need. It was so peaceful and the beach was clean and water was prestige. 'Stayed in Kauhale Makai 102 for 7 nights. A few suggestions: -since it is a studio, consider upgrading the refrigerator to a quieter model that does't sound like a noisy engine running right next to you ! - the mattress needs replacing, very saggy in the middle and way too soft'

'The place was not stocked up well and the appliances like coffee machine were dirty. Things were minimally maintained abd the beach equipment was so dirty and smelly, I had yo wash the beach towels before using it and beach chairs wete all stained and smelly. But overall it was clean.'
