Conveniently located in the heart of the Hunter Valley countryside, expect to be in awe from the amazing views within and around the resort grounds and beyond to the local farms and mountain ranges surrounding the valley. 

Try your hand at golfing through the Pro Shop, explore multiple vineyards in the immediate area or just relax on your private balcony with a sampling from the local wineries. Take a day trip to the east of Lovedale to explore the Werakata National Park, meander south-west to Wollombi or enjoys the prize of nature in the Aberdare State Forest. Take a breath and soak in that OMG! moment.

Overlooking the championship golf resort complex, this self-contained luxury retreat apartment offers 3 bedrooms with 2 x gorgeous bathrooms. Offering sunny & spacious living areas, air-conditioning and a large entertaining balcony with relaxing views to the mountains and/or resort complex.

This villa is privately owned and managed. Securing a reservation through Weekenda at Cypress Lakes affords unlimited access to the public bar & restaurant and the Owners Hillside Pool only. It does not at any time afford access to the resort run pool or gym. Rounds of golf and tennis court hire can be arranged directly through the Pro Shop.

How We Price: The booking price is based on a minimum number of guests. Any guests above this number are chargeable on a per person/per night rate. The system will automatically calculate the correct rate when you enter the required number of guests. Reductions in guest numbers are non-refundable.

Arrival Details: Access to the property is made simple. You’ll receive an access code via SMS just before 3pm on your arrival day, which you’ll use for the duration of your stay. Standard check-in is at 3pm. While an earlier arrival may be possible, it cannot be confirmed until the afternoon prior to your arrival. If an earlier check-in is available, we will send you an SMS by 4pm the day before to confirm.

Linen: 1 set of full bed linens and 1 bath towel per person are supplied. Guests may wish to bring extra towels depending on the length of their stay. Pool/Lake/Beach towels are BYO

Guest Amenities: We are Eco-Friendly - to help reduce wastage, we supply a single bottle of 3in1 shampoo/conditioner/body wash in all showers. In addition, guests are advised to bring their own personal preferred bathroom products/amenities and free Wifi

Wifi is provided complimentary on behalf of the owner. It is intended to be used in an appropriate manner by all guests. As the service is provided by an external 3rd party, Weekenda cannot and do not guarantee the speed or efficacy of this property's wifi connection nor do we pay any compensation for interruption of service for any reason.

Pools: Weekenda guests have unrestricted access to the Owners/Hillside Pool located on the corner of Chardonnay Terrace & Vintage Avenue. Weekenda Private Villas are not afforded access to Oaks Managed Resort facilities which include the resort/lagoon pool, tennis courts and gym. The Owners/Hillside pool is open for swimming from the start of the NSW September School Holidays and closed immediately after the NSW Easter School Holidays have been completed.

No Party Policy: All reservations operate under a Strict No-Party & Non-Excessive Noise Policy as prescribed in the NSW Short-Term Letting Legislation and Local Council Laws. This property is in a Residential Area. Failure to comply can put the security bond into jeopardy and may lead to police-assisted eviction and/or extra charges being levied. We hate to have to note this but the reality is that so far this year we have had to evict 3 groups for overstacking/bad/anti-social behavior.

Extra Guests / Visitors: The number of people nominated on your booking is the maximum number of people that are allowed to be on the property at any one time, including visitors. Visitors may be requested and if approved must be approved in writing with Weekenda staff. Simply put, if Mum and Dad want to come over for a BBQ then we are likely to approve. If 10 extra people want to stop by we are unlikely to approve, which could put your booking at risk. We will always try to be reasonable with reasonable people within property constraints and House Rules.

Cameras and Noise Monitoring: There are no external security cameras at this private Villa but please note Cypress Lakes is a complex with commercial offerings of a golf club, restaurant and bar. As such, external cameras are present in these communal areas managed by Oaks and not associated with the host. For the future, the private Villa owner reserves the right at any time to install external cameras at their discretion. Any camera install will be in line with local regulations. A noise monitoring device is installed - fines apply to guests found to have disconnected, removed or damaged the noise device. These devices are used to monitor and maintain ours and guests responsibilities under the NSW STR Code of Conduct

Guest Registration / ID Check : Weekenda requires every guest to complete and sign an electronic guest registration prior to arrival which will ask for photo ID i.e. a copy of your Drivers Licence or Passport. The primary booker will also be required to complete a list with the guests names and actual mobile numbers. In the event we are unable to reach the primary booker, it is very important we can get a hold of other guests. These documents will be deleted after your departure. Access Codes are only released to Registered and Verified Guests.

Critical Update: Due to an unprecedented influx of fraudulent bookings, we are forced to impose a policy that protects our clients, industry and community against those attempting to commit fraud and theft. Any booking made within 5 days of arrival is required to provide a photo of a valid credit card in the same full name of the primary guest to match the supplied identification document. Failure of these documents matching will result in the booking being cancelled and all funds processed returned to the original card assumed as stolen and thus a fraudulent transaction. We trust we have our honest and genuine customers understanding this policy is in place to protect all parties.

Insurance: As always, but ever so more due to recent times, we strongly encourage any holidaymakers to obtain a very inexpensive 3rd Party Domestic Travel Insurance Policy to cover you for all manners of matters which may restrict travel. This is particularly helpful for things like Hunter Valley Concert cancellations, Covid or Medical and Other Emergencies for which we don't provide refunds, and anything which falls under our standard Terms & Conditions irrespective of the reason. We suggest reviewing policies with 'Cover-More' or 'Travel Insurance Direct' or 'Insureandgo'

the location, the unit and the comfort was superb. the a/c units need more maintenance and to wait until the guests arrive to start trying to repair them I suggested to obtain other types of heaters but no luck

Perfectly suited our weekend. The Villa was a fantastic size, great views and location. Will be back!

Beds and bathrooms fine, but drawers and wardrobe doors had seen better days. Oven did not work at all. Lots of paint chips on cupboards and edges gave a shabby look. Dishwasher drawer came off rollers. Doors onto balconies very hard to open. Mostly comfortable, but 'premium' is close to misrepresentation.

Great location in the Hunter, the area was quiet and the villa very clean. There were areas that were a bit tired but this is to be expected. I would definitely stay here again.

Had a great stay at this villa. Beautiful views, very comfortable. Had everything you need. Access to the pool and cupress lakes resort facilities is a bonus. Perfect for a girls get away , couples or families. Would return for sure

On arrival at the booked 3-bedroom villa, after receiving the entry code via text message as promised, my family and I were pleasantly surprised by the quality and the provisions of the property. It was spacious and most impressive of all, very clean upstairs and also downstairs. The kitchen was really well provisioned and helped the preparation of our meals so much easier. I must compliment the customer service that was rendered. The instructions given were clear and given out well on time and that made for a smooth and uncomplicated arrival and departure. Overall, we had a most enjoyable and relaxed couple of days' stay and would love to come back at some future time.

We had a lovely time at this accommodation, it was in a great location and very easy to access, stress free check in and check out which was very convenient. The balcony door in villa 710 needs to be fixed as it does not slide open easily. Other than that, a great stay.

Was a lovely base for our hunter girl’s weekend away.Needs the PowerPoint fixed in ensuite,also instructions to the gas heater & stove top would help..Otherwise it was nice accommodation.
